Rename bank account

Thank you for taking the time to post here in the Community. I'm here to help you rename your bank.

May I ask what are the errors you encountered in your QuickBooks Online? We can also work on that.

There are two options where you can rename your bank account, it's in the Chart of Accounts page and in the Banking tab.

For the Chart of Accounts page, here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Look for the bank account you want to edit.
3. Click on the drop-down arrow beside View Register and choose Edit.
4. From there, you can edit your account name.
   
   
   
   

For the Banking page:

1. Click on the Banking menu.
2. On the Banking tab select the bank account you want to edit.
3. Tap the Pencil icon and choose Edit bank account info.
4. From there you can edit your account name.
