Sync bank account

I'm here to help you get rid of the error message you've received, @AbbbA.

 

Just clarify, what is the name of the bank you're trying to sync with QuickBooks? This error occurs when the sync cannot complete due to the QuickBooks Online account being inaccessible. It may have been due to permissions issues or an issue with the QuickBooks Online account subscription.

 

In the meantime, let's try accessing QuickBooks Online account as the Master Admin on a private browser or an incognito browser. You can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, you can try connecting your bank again. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Choose the Banking tab.
  3. Click Add Account.
  4. Search your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website. undefined
  5. Enter your bank's username and password.
    • If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  6. Pick the type of account.
  7. Select how far back you want to download bank transactions.
  8. Click Connect.
