Buy nowHi there, @peters3.
I can share details about verifying test transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
After setting up your bank account in QuickBooks Online Payroll, a test transaction for less than $1 will be deposited to your account in 2–3 banking days.
Moreover, you can also consider checking the following situations that hinder your direct deposit setup:
If it’s more than 2-3 business days and the test transactions aren’t reflected on your bank statement, I suggest contacting your financial institution for the test transaction amount. They hold the details you need concerning this and can provide you with accurate information.
Once you’re done, you can start setting up and managing your employees’ direct deposit payroll.
I’m always here if you need further guidelines about managing payroll in QuickBooks.
Thanks, but none of that is the case. My bank account routing and account numbers are the same for the bank account I use in Quickbooks generally. This is the general operating account of the company, so it always has money in it. No matter what I do, Quickbooks is NOT sending the two deposits to my account, and as a result, I have no amounts to verify. If I can't resolve it soon (I've been trying for nearly two months now), I'll have to move to ADP for payroll because I can't keep doing it manually.
Hello @peters3, I understand the importance of verifying the two test transactions before proceeding with payroll. Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated. I'd like to step in and direct you to the appropriate support channels that can assist in verifying the two deposits.
As mentioned, by my colleague, the test transaction will be posted in your bank account within 2-3 banking days after setting up your bank account in QuickBooks Online Payroll. Since it's nearly two months now and you haven't received the test amount, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They have tools that can check your account securely and verify what's causing the delay in verifying the test deposit.
Here's how:

I'll include these resources that will guide you in handling the two deposits when received and how to set up direct deposit for paying your employees and contractors in QuickBooks:
Feel free to reach out if there's anything I can assist you with, whether it's verifying test deposits or addressing any QuickBooks-related inquiries. I'm here to provide further assistance. Take good care.
Still no resolution. Have paid for QB payroll for three months now without being able to use it at all. If it doesn't get resolved today, ADP here I come.
