Sorry, I should have been clearer. We credited a credit card payment to the wrong customer, not the wrong account. I deleted the deposit but can't delete the individual payment - the customer is grayed out.
How do I remove a credit card payment from one customer and credit it to the correct customer
thanks
Bill
Hi @CT18,
Let me see if I can help with this. If you deleted the deposit, you should be able to then delete the payment. The payment would then go back to Merchant Deposits, where you can apply it to the correct account.
When you say the customer is greyed out, what do you mean by that? Can you possibly post a screenshot without sharing any information?
If you go to the customer that the payment was incorrectly applied to, are you able to click on the payment and delete from there?
Let me know and we'll go from there.
Posted a screen shot. I deleted the deposit and when I went tried to delete the individual transaction the customer was grayed out and it wasn't allowed to delete or void the transaction without warnings
Hi again, @CT18,
Anytime you delete a payment, it is going to give a warning message. If you click through, it should allow you to delete the payment. Have you tried that?
