When I go to reconcile two months together it will only show me half of the second month's entries. Can anyone help me get the full months numbers to show?

When I go to reconcile two months together it will only show me half of the second month's entries. Can anyone help me get the full months numbers to show?

 

I know reconciliation can be challenging at times. I got your back and we’ll get through this, silverfernhvac.

 

If your entries are not appearing in the reconciliation window as you expect them to, the cause may be one or more of the following:

  • The transaction has not been posted or was posted to a different account (most common)
  • The transaction has been previously reconciled.
  • The transaction was deleted, changed, or modified.

Let's try checking the Audit History to view transaction changes in the audit history. Then, make sure we enter the correct Ending balance and Ending date on your statement. Then, try reconciling your account again. If you encounter some problems, see the Fix issues the first time you reconcile an account in the QuickBooks Online article to troubleshoot the issue.

 

If the same thing happens, try signing in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
