When will are bank info get updated

I have the steps you can perform to get your updated bank transactions in the program, @tamikokemp

QuickBooks Online (QBO) downloads the latest available transactions every night around 10 pm PST. Also, the data we receive depends on how your bank communicates with our system. Because of this, we're unable to confirm if when will the bank info get updated in the program.

Here are the possible reasons the bank info isn't updated yet in QBO:

  • The bank is performing system maintenance.
  • There are notifications from their website that need your attention.

To help resolve this, let's first manually update the bank account. This refreshes the bank connection within the program. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu.
  2. Choose the blue tile for the bank account.
  3. Select Update.
  4. If prompted, enter your Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  5. Click Continue Update

Second, if the update doesn't work, the issue may be on the bank’s end. I'd suggest logging into your bank's website to review if there are alerts that need your attention. One of these could be new security requirements. When everything looks good, perform another manual update.

Third, you'll have to update your bank info if you make changes on your bank's website. For detailed instructions, see Step 2 through this article: What To Do If Bank Transactions Won't Download or There's A Bank Error

Once downloaded, you can edit, assign, and categorize the transactions. You can also match them to the existing entries in the system. Just go to the For Review tab. It helps you ensure your financial records are accurate. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorizing Bank Transactions

Also, I'd want to make sure this issue will be taken care of. Because of this, can I ask for the specific bank you're trying to get their info updated in QBO? Did you also receive any error message? To add some details, click the Reply button below. These will help me provide an accurate resolution to fix this.

I'll be right here to help if you need further assistance. Keep safe always, @tamikokemp
