Hello there, mophidaho.
I have the information you need to find downloaded attachments from QuickBooks Online.
You can locate downloaded attachments from the system on the default storage for downloaded files on your device. Usually, it will be under the Downloads folder.
On the other hand, you might want to review this material whenever you want to store company data on your local hard drive: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

Yes, I have done that.
First when I download the image it opens in my browser (Google). It is not found in the local Download Folder.
When I Batch Export, it saves an archive zip file/ Then when I opened there three sub-folders.
(Unattached documents)
Check
Deposit
When you open any of the Sub Files this is what is there.
Because all but one is “File” there is no way to open them.
I am new to QuickBooks, and I need the images to see who the activity is. There are no attachments in the Transaction Bank Detail and the Check # doesn’t tell me anything i.e. Pay To and in the Bank Transaction there is no attachment of the image of the check. I have three Banks accounts that have the same issues Thank for your help.
Thank you for getting back on this thread, mophi.
Allow me to chime in and provide additional information about attachments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
After downloading the attachments, they are saved as a compressed or zip file. On that note, we have to choose the Extract all option to enable access to the data and incorporate these files into our bank transactions.
Regarding your concern with the bank transaction, QBO is dependent on the information shared by your financial institution, if the data don't contain any attachments, then we can manually attach them using the downloaded files. But please note that if this data is saved as a zip or compressed file, extract it first to integrate it into our bank transactions.
Also, the option to view the image of the check directly in the Bank detail section isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To review the image, click on the file directly to see its preview. This functionality may require manual intervention to access the check image. I'll add an image for visual reference.
Lastly, I've included these resources to help you review your downloaded bank and credit card transactions and automatically categorize transactions from your bank:
