Why aren't transactions being updated

Hello there, kris328.

 

It could be the bank is performing system maintenance, or there are notifications on your bank's website that need your attention. That's why QuickBooks Self-Employed(QBSE) isn't downloading your bank transactions. 

 

I've got some steps to fix this. Let's manually update your bank so you can keep your accounts updated.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank Accounts.
  3. Click Refresh All.

After downloading your latest transactions, you can create rules to quickly categorize them. You can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Create rules to speed up reviews in QuickBooks Self-Employed. It provides you an option on how to perform the process using an internet browser, an iPhone or iPad (iOs), or using a phone or tablet with Android.

 

You can also share the name of your bank or if you've encountered an error while trying to connect with your financial institution so we can identify if there's an issue.
