One possible reason why QuickBooks is not showing the Gear icon could be because of the junk files stored in the web directory. Let's perform basic troubleshooting steps to check whether this has something to do with your browser. You can use an Incognito or a new private window.

If you're able to find the Gear icon and access the Recurring Transactions via the private browser, let's clear your browser's cache. If none of the steps work, try using a different browser.
