Why doesn't my match from banking transaction only show checks not credit card payments which are in undeposited funds?

Hello there, bill139.

I've got the steps on how you can bring your missing credit card payments.

The transactions may haven't been categorized resulting them to be not available on your Banking page. Here's how to review the payments:

  1. From the Accounting tab, select Chart of accounts.
  2. Look for the
  3. Look for the Uncategorized Expenses account.
  4. Select Run report.
  5. Locate the missing transactions.

I've added this reference on how you can move transactions out of uncategorized expenses: Move transactions to another account.

When you're ready to reconcile the items, you can check this guide: Review your accounts in QuickBooks to make sure they match your bank and credit card statements.

I'll be around if ever you need extra help in reconciling the accounts. I'll be happy to lend a hand!

Thanks Adrian, but they are categorized to undeposited funds.  When I run the report as you suggest, no transactions show up.  When I hit find match, only checks are showing up now.  Earlier today, it worked fine

Thanks for getting back to me, bill139.

I appreciate you for trying to review the report.

This time, let's check to see if the transactions are posted on your Bank deposit page. From there, you can distribute them to their correct accounts. Let me guide you with these steps:

  1. From the + New button, select Bank deposit.
  2. On the Account drop-down, select the account you want to put the money into.
  3. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
  4. Click Save and close or Save and new.

When it's time to review the accounts, you can reconcile them to ensure they match your bank and credit card statements.

Don't hesitate to reply if there's anything that I can help with. I've got your back!
