I am an existing subscriber to the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, which I use to track my miles, expenses, and other financial data. I have a full-year subscription, and the service is essential for my business operations.
Recently, I attempted to log in to the app, but it no longer allows me to do so. Instead, It has a message stating that the Self-Employed app is no longer accepting new sign-ups but that existing users can continue using it. Unfortunately, the app does not provide an option to enter my login credentials or access my account.
Considering the subscription cost and my reliance on the app, this is highly disappointing. To make matters worse, there seems to be no way to contact customer service directly, leaving me with no other option than to reach out through this channel.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue promptly, as I need the app to function as advertised. Please let me know how I can regain access to my account and resume using the service.
I'll share why you're having difficulty accessing your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account through the mobile app, Maggie47.
Starting on March 24, 2024, the QBSE mobile app will no longer be available to new users, and updates will be inaccessible. Since you are an existing user, you should still be able to log in to your account. In order to provide you with a more targeted solution, can you give us a screenshot of the app on your end.
In the meantime, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your QBSE app to start over fresh. You can download it again through Google Play or the Apple App Store. This helps ensure that you'll be able to obtain your previously purchased apps.
Alternatively, you can also access your QBSE account via a mobile browser to get back to work. If you still need to connect with our live expert, simply select the Help icon within the product and follow the onscreen instructions.

I have not uninstalled the app. The app was the same one. I have been using the app perfectly fine until yesterday. Now when I open the app, it gives me the screen as attached. Without any log in option.
Again. They reason for me to purchase the app to use the miles tracking function. If I can’t use the app only web access, why am I paying a such premium for it?
