I do not have a button to send a client request on my QBOA. It is supposed to be under Work > Create client request. I was told by QBO support that some new accounts are part of a pilot where the feature is being moved under the Client List. But when I go to the Cient List and client click on the client name as instructed, I still do not have the new tab or button. I have no way of sending a client request.
One of the reps had me clear the history, go into multiple browsers, different computer, etc. The result is the same on every browser and every computer, so this really isn't a browser issue. I have also received several follow-up phone calls regarding my open cases to see if I was still having this issue. But nothing has changed and I am still not able to send client requests.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? How do I go about getting the programming team to expedite addressing this?
I was given two case numbers # 15123005036 and 15123008398.
Thank you.
We appreciate you bringing this one to our attention, Drumelie.
We commend you for contacting our support agent and performing the basic troubleshooting steps to verify that it is not about any browser's performance. I've checked our records and there's no reported case where the Create client request button disappears from the Work and My Accountant tab. In this case, we recommend contacting our QuickBooks Accountant Support Team. This way, they can check your account securely to see the root cause of this matter and initiate an investigation. Here's how:

Thank you, but this isn't very helpful. As stated, I had already contacted QBOA support and was given case numbers.
We tested this with various browsers and multiple PCs on my end. It is not a browser issue. I do not have a button under ‘Work’ to ‘Create client request.’
I was eventually told that my QBOA account is part of a pilot group for new accounts, where the feature is being changed to be under ‘Clients’. I was told to click on the client name from the Clients list, and that there should be a Request tab. But unfortunately, there is no Request tab or button under Clients, either. So I have no way of sending a request to a client.
The ability to send client requests is an important basic feature. So how can I get this taken care of?

Just want to say that I also do not have a 'Client Request' button via the 'Work' tab.
I have 'Manage Templates' and 'Create Projects' buttons but that is it. No 'Client Request' button.
I use Linux operating system rather that Windows, don't know if that makes a difference.

Executing the several troubleshooting steps in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Accountant helps resolve the missing Client Request button, Dbsw2002. I'm here to guide you throughout the process.
Let's start by logging out of your QBO Accountant in your regular browser, then sign into an incognito or private browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts below:
Then, check if the Client Request button is visible under the Work tab. If it is, go back to your usual browser and clear the cache. This step helps eliminate browser cookies that may hinder web pages from functioning optimally.
Furthermore, I recommend contacting our QBO support team if the issue persists. They can examine your account and find a suitable resolution in real-time.
In the meantime, you can request documents from your customers to send documents through email, which you can then upload to your QBO Accountant account.
Additionally, you can explore this article to assist you in monitoring and managing your clients: Manage and track your work with projects and tasks in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Return to this thread if you need more help accessing the QBO Accountant Clint Request button. I'll be here to answer them once I get your reply.
