Thank you for adding a screenshot, Kim.

I can share a couple of steps and info to ensure you can get past this error.

QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) relies on Microsoft programs, including the Microsoft .NET Framework, to operate web-based applications. This issue typically arises when certain components cease to function properly.

To address this issue, you can utilize the QuickBooks Tool Hub. For optimal performance, I suggest using it on a 64-bit Windows 10 system. Once ready, here's how to get started:

  1. Close QBDT, and then download QuickBooks Tool Hub
  2. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop).
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe), and then follow the on-screen prompts to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  4. When the installation finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

Once done, open the Diagnostic Tool and run the needed fix. Let me guide you through the steps.

  1. Open the QuickBooks Tool Hub, and then select Installation Issues.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. Let the tool run (It can take up to 20 minutes).
  3. Then, restart your computer to refresh the system and apply the needed patches.

If the issue persists, please follow steps 3-4 and Solution 5 in this article: Fix QBDT install errors.

For good practice, I recommend backing up your company files. This way, you can restore them anytime in case of accidental data loss.

Moreover, I've added this article whenever you need an additional guide in exporting and importing files: Export, import, and edit IIF files.

I'm always around if you have more concerns about managing your QuickBooks Desktop file.
