QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) relies on Microsoft programs, including the Microsoft .NET Framework, to operate web-based applications. This issue typically arises when certain components cease to function properly.
To address this issue, you can utilize the QuickBooks Tool Hub. For optimal performance, I suggest using it on a 64-bit Windows 10 system. Once ready, here's how to get started:
- Close QBDT, and then download QuickBooks Tool Hub.
- Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop).
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe), and then follow the on-screen prompts to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- When the installation finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
Once done, open the Diagnostic Tool and run the needed fix. Let me guide you through the steps.
- Open the QuickBooks Tool Hub, and then select Installation Issues.
- Choose QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. Let the tool run (It can take up to 20 minutes).
- Then, restart your computer to refresh the system and apply the needed patches.
