Switching Back to Old Layout

Switching to old layout is only available for essentials, Plus and Advanced subscriptions. so If you want to switch back you need to upgrade if you have Simple Start.

Switching Back to Old Layout

I agree, Pisces.

Simple Start users will be automatically migrated to the new invoice experience and will not have the option to opt-out. However, individuals who have upgraded or are using QuickBooks Essentials, Plus, or Advanced versions can revert to the old invoice layout by choosing the Old Layout button from the invoice screen.

Switching Back to Old Layout

I have plus but it is not giving me the option of switching back to the old layout. Is there another way to do it

Switching Back to Old Layout

I recognize the importance of reverting to the previous invoice experience, Kaye24, as it provided a sense of familiarity and ease.

I'm here to provide an overview of the latest interface improvements introduced in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The option to switch back to the previous invoice experience is unavailable. Beginning May 6, 2024, all QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced users will be migrated to the new interface. While Simple Start and Essentials subscribers have transitioned to the new layout, effective April.

Although this update is unfamiliar and challenging, I'm here to support you through this and ensure a smooth transition for your business. To help you get acquainted with the changes, I recommend exploring this informative article: See what's new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online. It can help you become equipped to navigate the new interface with confidence.

If you need to notify customers about upcoming invoice due dates, you can send them a reminder message. It'll ensure you can pay them on time.

Please keep me posted if you have more questions about managing or creating your sales transactions. I'm here to provide guidance and support.
