I understand that some of us are still having trouble using a third-party app in QuickBooks because of the revoked certificates warning.

Upon contacting Pro Advisor support, absolutely no help was received from the phone call. I was told that I will receive some sort of email upon the correction being made by the programming team. Was given a case number. I have to completely disagree with your message to contact you for help with this issue!! Your help page is absolutely useless with this issue. You might as well have told us all to "Go to H3LL" and walked away from your desk because that's how we feel that we are being treated by Intuit!!
I just said the same exact thing to one of my colleagues. If I have to put any effort into new software, and re-integrations and testing, it will be with Sage, not Quickbooks!!!!!

I am running an older version of QB desktop which from what I have read here will no longer work. I have been using the EXCEL addin as is and not requiring any changes felt no need to upgrade QB. If I want to continue to use this feature I am being forced to upgrade my software. I have chosen to eliminate the excel addin by exporting the file from QB in CSV format and importing it using VBA. Now to figure out how to stop the insane number of emails from customers that are living through this nightmare, many that may not have skills to code work-a-rounds. It sure has lowered my opinion of QuickBooks.
This is not just about skills @BillinBC. I use sales tax software that goes out and calculates proper state sales tax when you create an invoice -- an impossible task if you do business in all 50 states, with different rules for each one. I can't do invoicing, because the connector to the sales tax software is not working. I fully understand why everyone is so angry, and desperate for a solution!
no luck. The link QB provided doesn't fix my QB(version 23). I phoned the customer yesterday 2023.08.23 and today 2023.08.24, they just said the engineer is working on it...
We never had this problem until QB bought out T Sheets and this seems to be an on going issue that needs to be fixed ASAP! I CANNOT RUN PAYROLL RIGHT NOW! I would also like a refund for the amount of time this program has been down and to be reimbursed for all of the double work I need to do to enter everything manually. This is absurd and not how a company should be run. QB you need to make some changes fast before you lose more customers, I'm already looking to drop you! Also, quit raising your prices if you can't keep your software running efficiently.

Agreed. It's always the same. Nothing ever changes. Now clients are angry their staff can't do their work because webconnector isn't working.

This fix does not work! I spent 3 hours on the phone this morning with Quickbooks and it still pops up with the revoked certificate. We have not been able to run a sync for 3 days now and this is beyond frustrating!
This fix did not work for us, we are current 2023 version on a hosted network. we are dead in the water as of today 8-24-23!
I would think twice about using Sage. we just got away from it, quickbooks is much better, even with these issues
we do as well. we sell products in all states and need the tax software! our entire Sales order and invoicing is completely shut down at this point.....extremely frustrating
I had the same errors as others but finally got it working...
If you don't have a backup copy, I'm sorry, I don't know the solution for you. But if you have a backup copy, work from that. Very frustrating couple of days.
Upgrading QuickBooks doesn't solve this. I fell for that already and the problem persisted. You HAVE to install the QBWebConnector.exe 2.3.0.240 file on top of your existing install.
Same, was on the phone with QB for 30 minutes and problem still happening.
We run QuickBooks Accountant version 2021.2022.2023,E21,E22,E23 and cannot use statement writer due to the revoked certificate. Any idea when this will be resolved?
QB support says they do not have that version - so how did you get it??
This is a HUGE problem that needs to be addressed. I can't bring anything over from our landscape software due to the web connector not working!!! They have no answers. I spent an hour on the phone with them to do the certificate repair.
I AGREE. I just did payroll manually and had to print timecards from our landscaping software. I can't pay on month end bills due to not being able to bring over my PO's. This is a crisis and they don't seem to be taking it as a critical problem.
