Workflow for processing expense receipts in eml (email) format

I get a large enough volume of emailed receipts that require met o print to PDF before uploading, since QB won't accept emails as document types. Forwarding to my custom accounting email address also gets rejected every time. What are people doing to work around the inability to process emails as receipts?

Yes, you're right, Razwheat. QuickBooks Online accepts file types such as PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, or PNG. I'll do my best to help you upload receipts successfully.

I recognize you have a volume of receipts to convert to PFD or other required types. You may want to consider using a third-party application that possesses the function of converting files to PDFs in bulk.

However, we're unable to recommend a specific application for you. We can consider the Google search engine for a free online file converter tool.

Furthermore, please note to utilize the custom email address ending in @qbodocs.com for forwarding receipts under Manage Forwarding Receipts.

Additionally, you can send several receipt images in a single email, provided each attachment's size is between 46KB and 20MB.

Keep me updated if you have questions or issues regarding forwarding email receipts in QuickBooks Online. Stay safe.

Maybe someone within QBO will see this response. I am posting in the QB community to gain knowledge from actual users. The response from the QB team member is exactly the problem with QB support: you regurgitate exactly what I've already stated and don't offer a solution or workaround. I am well aware that the system doesn't accept email formats for documents. Half of my receipts are in email format and generating a PDF to upload is problematic and time consuming. I am looking for workarounds to this issue. I can't be the only person struggling with this concern.
