Recurring Transactions-menu item

Hello QBO Community,

I have set up lots of recurring  (scheduled and unscheduled) transactions, which I currently can only access through the gear icon.

Is there a way to add the recurring transactions to the bookmarks on the left menu side?
It would save a huge amount of time. It's so cumbersome to have those entries  "tucked away" ..requiring unnecessary clicks to pull them up.

Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Alexandra

p.s. if they can be added as a bookmark/menu item -please share how to set it up.

Hello, Alexandra.

I can see how the benefit of being able to include recurring transactions to the bookmarks in the left menu would aid you in managing your sales and expenses. However, this isn't currently an option in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll share more details about this below.

Instead, you can customize your Bookmarks to include ExpensesAll salesBillsEstimates, or Invoices (according to your preferences) menus so you can easily access your transactions.

Furthermore, you can also run the Recurring Template List report to manage all your recurring transactions, grouped by type (scheduled, reminder, and unscheduled).

Additionally, when one or more of your recurring transactions weren't created, you'll have to confirm if the information in your template is updated then manually process or recreate them. To do this fix, you may want to check out this article to guide you through the process: Fix failed recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have other feature concerns or questions about managing recurring transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, Alexandra.

You could make a bookmark directly to the URL address of the recurring transaction page (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/recurring), and then pin it to your favorites bar.

Other browsers will work similarly.

Add a site to my favorites in Microsoft Edge
