941 Payroll Tax

I submitted by 941 payroll tax payment yesterday and it was accepted by QB with a tracking number but

in the EFile payment history it has not been submitted/accepted to the IRS and I never received the

email saying the the payment had been accepted or rejected. The payment was due yesterday.

If the status is unchanged after 48 hrs, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have full access to pull up your account in a secure environment and further check your tax payment. 

 

To reach them, here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks. 
  2. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help
  4. Type Contact Us in the search box. Then, click on Contact Us at the bottom. 
  5. Select the way you wish to connect with support.

Hi there, @Shalo. Let me share information about the lead time for electronically paid tax payments.

 

Once you pay your taxes electronically via your QuickBooks Desktop account, your return is processed. It takes 24-48 hours to submit your tax forms or payment, and expect to get an email confirmation.

 

To ensure the agency will receive the payment on time, let's check your e-pay status. Here's how:

 

  1. On your QBDT account, go to the Employees menu.
  2. Select Payroll Center, then choose the Pay Liabilities tab.
  3. In the Payment History section, select the E-Payments tab.
  4. If the status isn't updating, toggle between the All Payments tab and the E-Payment tab. It will refresh the list.
  5. Select the View link in the Audit Trail column for more details.

Thank you, I had followed those steps but it is still showing as submitted to QB with a tracking # but nothing showing it was submitted to the agency.
