Hi there, ANACNRVP. I understand how important it is for this feature to work properly and I appreciate you coming to the Community. Let me see what I can do to help you out.
Cookies and browser cache help QuickBooks Online run more quickly. But sometimes these can also cause browser related issues and prevents webpages from loading properly.
To isolate this issue, we can do some troubleshooting steps and check for any underlying browser issues to pinpoint this problem. We'll start by accessing your QuickBooks Online account in a private/incognito window. Use these shortcut keys to open one:
- Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari browser: Command + Option + P
If you see the option and successfully added a new employee, then go back to your regular browsing window and clear its cache. By doing this, you can delete corrupted and out-of-date internet files from your computer.
You can also press (Ctrl + -) or (Cmd + -) to check your browser's zoom settings since this will also tend to hide other UI elements such as adding an employee.
Alternatively, you can also check other supported browser that works best with QuickBooks Online.
Please let us know if you've already gone through these steps or if your still encountering the same issue and we'll make sure our team is aware so that they can further investigate.
