You can BUY forms from QB but I think Staples is cheaper.  Printing of forms is included but not the forms themselves.  You can print W2 on blank perforated paper but QB does not sell the perf-paper and technically the IRS requires perforated forms be delivered to employees, not just a plain paper 3 or 4 on a page (although if you manually cut them apart that might qualify)

The IRS only accepts pre-printed forms, and you can order the 1099 kits from the Intuit Market. Whether you want to e-file or mail your forms yourself, QuickBooks Online makes it easy. Here's an article with details and information: Common Questions About 1099s.

 

Intuit will print and mail employee W-2s for you automatically if you're using Core, Premium, Elite, or Full Service Payroll. Starting on January 1st, you should start to give your employees their W-2 forms if not using one of the products mentioned above. You'll want to give these forms by January 31st. Here's how to print with Enhanced Payroll:

  1. Sign In your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  3. Under Forms, select Annual Forms.
  4. Click W-2, Copies B, C & 2.
  5. View and Print the form.

In most cases, two sheets will print for each employee. The first sheet contains Copy B (for federal filing) and instructions. The second sheet contains two images of Copy B (for state and/or local filing), and Copy C (for the employee's records). In some situations, four sheets will print out for each employee. This may occur when there are too many entries in box 14 to be contained within a single box. The additional entries will be printed on the second set of W-2 copies. You should provide all four sheets to the employee.
