The Description box when opening a Weekly Timesheet in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can't be resized. However, we made sure our customers were able to enter characters for the description long enough for there preference.
You can have this article handy to learn more about entering a weekly timesheet in QBO: Enter a weekly timesheet.
I can see how being able to resize the description text box in the Weekly Timesheet will bring satisfaction and convenience to you in organizing your data. While the option is not yet available, I want you to be updated with our latest happenings and program road-maps by visiting our QuickBooks Online Blog site.
If you have other questions, please let me know and I'd be happy to address it. Have a good one!
Yes. I realize all of that. Hence my request to "Please make this text box re-sizeable."
I don't need a "Handy article." I've been tormented with entering timesheets for a dozen years or so. All the while putting up with the interface problems and never seeing anything done bout them.
At this time, the option to re-size the text box layout is unavailable, david-seber.
We always welcome ideas from customers that can enhance our software. Customizing and resizing the text box in Timesheet is one of the most requested feature. Rest assured that our Product Development Team is working diligently to have this added in our future updates.
In the meantime, you can visit our QuickBooks Online Blog to see what's new about our product updates and feature enhancement.
If there's anything else I can do for you, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a nice day!
