Can't esign payroll authorization

I've got a couple of handy insights about managing electronic signatures for payroll forms in QuickBooks Online.

Those forms that are required to be printed and uploaded may not be eligible for the e-signature feature. Also, it depends on the state if they require an e-signature on the payroll forms.

If needed, you can manually affix your signature or integrate a supported third-party app to do this. Let me guide you on how:

1. Go to the Apps menu on the left pane.
2. Select the Find Apps tab, and then type a keyword in the search bar like "E-signature."
3. Click the magnifying glass to search, and then choose the app that suits your needs.

My question is stemming from the fact that the same forms for the same type of organization in the same state a week apart, one was told to esign, one was told to print and wet sign.
