Buy nowColorado's Paid Family Leave percentage is 9% to be shared by the employee and employer. That would be 0.45% each. We are not supposed to use decimals. . . How do I enter? 45 or 045 on each employees record?
Hi there, kkrh51848.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing steps to ensure you can enter the employee's rate for Colorado State Family Leave using whole numbers.
To enter the 45 or 045 on each employee's record when setting up Colorado State Family Leave in QuickBooks, you'll have to enter your employee rate with no decimals. Example: 60. Beforehand, I suggest downloading and getting the newest tax table in QuickBooks Payroll to provide you with up-to-date, accurate rates and calculations for federal and supported state taxes, payroll tax forms, and e-file and e-pay options.
Once done, you can input or modify your employee or company percentage using a non-decimal format.
Here's how:
After that, you can add your Colorado FAMLI account number. Please follow the steps below.

The payroll tax item for the CO FAMLI is not showing up in my QBDT even though I have downloaded and installed the latest payroll release.
Thanks for reaching out to us, @jantco.
It's possible that the download of the tax table update wasn't successful, which is why the tax item didn't display in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. Could you please confirm that Payroll Update 22301 is your tax table version? If so, kindly follow the steps above provided by my colleague ChristieAnn.
If the issue persists despite the correct tax table update and already followed the steps outlined above, I recommend contacting payroll support. They can initiate a screen-sharing session to assist you further and, if necessary, create a case for this issue.

Yes, I do have tax table 22301 installed.
There is still a problem in entering the rate. I am supposed to enter a whole number. Whether I enter 0045/045.or 45, I get 45%. I need 4.5%
Also on the payroll item list, QB has entered 0.9% for both the company and employee, and it should be 0.45 for each.
I followed instructions and after entering the FAMLI account number, instead of a next option to verify the rate, it jumps to Finish. Is there a way for me to change the rate?
I did the payroll update twice to be sure I had it installed.
I called the support line and you can enter a decimal.
For Colorado it is 4.5% for the company and 4.5% for the employee.
