We tried to set up direct deposit for a client with QB Desktop 23 so he could pay his employees and have them get direct deposit. The 2 small deposits never came to his bank account. We are unable to figure out how to start over and get new deposits sent, undo the process and start over, verify that we put in the proper routing and account numbers, or otherwise get this to start working. Is there any solution?
Glad to see you here, @namtrag. Let me assist you with activating a direct deposit in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) so your client can pay their employees flawlessly.
Before anything else, please note that the test transaction amount will be posted to your bank statement within 2-3 business days.
However, if it exceeds the mentioned days and the test transactions aren't posted in your bank statement, I suggest reviewing if you have entered the correct bank information. Here's how to check if you have a QBDT Payroll Basic, Standard or Enhanced subscription:
If you have QBDT Payroll Assisted, you can select Employees, then My Payroll Service, then Billing/Bank Information. Then, review the Bank Account Information.
Otherwise, you can reach out to your bank account if the entered bank details are accurate and the posting of test transactions exceeds 2-3 business days.

If you have other concerns or inquiries about setting up direct deposits in QBDT Payroll, I'll be more than glad to offer additional assistance. Have a great day ahead!
I can't do any of that because the direct deposit is still inactive, so there is no bank information to edit.
We have the PAP enterprise software bundle.
Is there a way to unwind what we have done and start the whole process over, or to get intuit to send another set of deposits?

Since there's no option to update the bank information, I recommend contacting our payroll experts. They can assist you in reinitiating the test debit and ensure the direct deposit will be activated.
