The direct deposits did not go through to the employees of several QB online companies. Help.

Yes, none of my client's direct deposits went through this morning.  Chat & phone lines are closed.  Someone at QB needs to put out something to give us something to tell our clients!

My direct deposit to my employees didn't go through and bank doesn't have an electronic file to post. i received an email stating payroll was complete however no one got paid

Hi everyone!

 

Thank you for reporting this in the community. There was an issue this morning (April 30th) that prevented some direct deposits from being processed as normal. The good news is, this has now been resolved and we expect to see funds available in your employees' bank accounts by the end of the day today.

I appreciate you for getting in touch with us about the direct deposit. I know how crucial being able to pay employees on time so I'm here to help you out.

 

When processing a direct deposit, there's a lead time you need to follow for your payroll subscription. It will help you determine the payroll submission to pay employees on time.

 

You need to submit your payroll before 5:00 PM PST on the day of the submission. Sending payroll after the deadline will lead to late payments for your employees.

 

In case there are federal holidays, you can submit your paychecks a day earlier than usual. Please visit this page for more information about the adjustment process for holidays: How do federal holidays affect my direct deposit?.


If there's no delay with your submission, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. Our support can further check the status and be able to identify the reason why your employees didn't receive the direct deposit.

 

Our Customer Support Team for QuickBooks Online Payroll - Core, Premium is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday). For QuickBooks Full Service Payroll, QuickBooks Online Payroll Elite/Premium, any time, any day.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help tab in the upper-right corner.
  2. Go to the Assistant tab.
  3. Click Get help from a human.
  4. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you
