It's good to see you here in the Community, @jamiemcallister.

I want to make sure your direct deposit issue is taken care of, and I'd like to redirect you to the best support group available to get this addressed right away.

This is an unusual issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll. Since the amount was deposited to your employee's bank account even though you run payroll once, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Team. This way, they can trace the direct deposit and help you correct it. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.

You might want to run payroll reports in QBO. This will help you view helpful information about your business and employees.

Should you need any additional assistance running payroll in QBO. I'll be sure to get back to you, @jamiemcallister.

Thanks for joining this thread, @Juliademeter. I'm here to provide some information on how to open payroll in QuickBooks.

If you're the employer, you can generate payroll reports in QuickBooks Online. This helps you keep track of your payroll details and history, especially on year ends.

Here's how:

  1. Proceed to the Reports menu.
  2. Enter the report name on the search field.
  3. Search and select the statement that appears on the results.
  4. Filter your report by employee, date range, and work location, and then click Run report.

You can utilize this article for the lists of payroll reports you can access. It also consists of ideas on how to customize and print the statement: Run payroll reports.

On the other hand, if you're an employee trying to open paystubs, you can access this in QuickBooks Workforce.

To get your pay stubs, here's what you need to do:

  1. Set up your Workforce account if you haven't before.
  2. Log in to workforce.intuit.com.
  3. Click Paychecks.
  4. Choose the applicable date range.
  5. Select a pay stub to open and view, download or print it.

Additionally, I've attached a link that you may find relevant for future tasks in QuickBooks: Pay or file state and federal payroll taxes online.
