QuickBooks Online will automatically adjust the state withholdings for you. If a mistake was made where the new withholding didn't take place on the payroll for an employee, QuickBooks will automatically fix this for you on the next payroll that's ran.
You can always contact support to have them look at your account to ensure everything is updated for you. Below I've included the steps on how to contact support.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Hit Help (?) at the top right.
- Click Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
