This is so frustrating. It's obviously not an issue with Updates for ALL of us. We know what we are doing. Please escalate this immediately. You have raised the price through the roof for QB Desktop and payroll and yet we are getting these kind of problems.
Yeah. And they make it completely impossible to upgrade the version without specifically typing “Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2023” into a search engine so the hidden webpage shows up where we can upgrade the software. The only info on their site is to force the “upgrade” to QB Online which IS NOT WHAT WE WANT.
Same... How frustrating. Why these issues always seem to be end of quarter or even worse, end of year... If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it....
Same issue here. Quickbooks get this fixed NOW!
Is anyone from QuickBooks support even paying attention to this? It would be nice to get a little feedback that they are at least working on it.

There is currently an open investigation into this issue. Rest assured, our engineering team is working diligently to address the problem and is implementing a solution as quickly as possible. Please get in touch with our Customer Care Support team to add you to the list of affected users and receive updates once it's available. You can refer to the steps provided by my colleague @JenoP on how to contact our support.
In the meantime, consider printing and manually filing the 941 with the FED through the Federal portal as an alternative method.

This site only allows 1 attachment, but I received a different error each time tried. I attached the last error message I got. Maybe you can share these with your engineering team.
The 1st error #15270 showed payroll update not complete because of missing file.
The 2nd error #IC67305976 showed Internet Connection Error, server unavailable.
The 3rd error #PS060 shows as QuickBooks Enhanced Payroll Service is not currently available.
Now along with not being able to e-file, now I am getting an error message updating the payroll updates.
Error: the quickbooks enhanced payroll for unlimited employees service is not currently available. Please try again later.
Then when trying to select manage account for enhanced payroll I get an error message.
Error: we're having a problem verifying your account status.
I don't know what to do, anyone else having the same problem?
Yes, clearly they are doing things on their back end. I would just hang tight.
I called support - it indicated I would get a call back in 5 minutes and I did not.
It's working now. I submitted the 941.
QB fixed their issue, e-filed successfully.

Hi I am having same issue, there seems to be an issue on Intuit's side. The system also won't send DD at this time either. System reporting it is intuit, can not update accountants.
Hello it is reporting the Quickbooks for accountants is not currently available. please get this fixed asap.
Far down in the comment chain some say it is fixed and working, however that is not the case for us. I think for a lot of people this is an issue still. I have actually been on the phone with Support off and on over the past quarter and reporting this issue. Just last week was on a remote session with intuit for over 4 hours and it is still not working. they are suppose to call back tomorrow after telling me last week that it was because it was to late to efile (was still trying to efile 2nd qtr 941 after qb told me it was filed in July) this is beyond what we pay for! I have been having this issue for a while!

confirmed, yes it does work now
I'm still not able to process any payroll forms in my QB Desktop 2021. Every time I try, whether it's the Form 941 or a state form, I get the message that I have to update my Payroll. I click on the Update, it runs for about 5 seconds, then comes back. I try again and am told that I haven't done any updates in over 50 days.
I've updates QB (using the reset update option), re-booted, run it as Administrator, etc. - all to no avail. What else can I do to make this work?

I'm having the same issue the payroll will not upgrade. I was on the phone with tec support for over 1 hour and did not get anywhere. Tec Support finally said that it was because on an internal problem my subscription was temporarily cancelled and then renewed again and that I needed to get a new subscription number. She placed me on hold and then just dropped the call. So square one still... very frustrating want to file my 941 form soon.
I am having the same issue on 3 out of my 4 computers. Call for help twice with no solution. Have you had any luck.

Having the same issue. Sent file and is saying that it was sent to intuit but has gone no farther. I called earlier this week and was told the IRS hasn’t responded yet but it’s hasn’t gone that far for them to see it. What should I do
