emailing paystubs

Let me give you some details about emailing paychecks in QuickBooks Online. 

As of the moment, your employees will get an auto-email every time you run payroll if they have QuickBooks Workforce. So, they can review the data on their account quickly. If they don't use Workforce, you can manually email the paychecks to them. This way, you can email the data at any date either delay or in advance. 

Here's how:

1. Go to Employees, then click Paycheck list.
2. Choose the paychecks, then click Print.
3. Click the Download icon, then save the file.
4. Attach the paystub to their emails.

Can we stop email notifications? Such as for bonus checks?

I can share information about stopping employees from receiving email notifications.

Every time you do payroll for your employee, an email will be sent to them. The option to stop the email notification when creating checks or bonus checks is unavailable. Employers have no control over whether or not their employees wish to be notified. 

As a workaround, you can ask your employee to turn off the email notifications on their own if they don't want to receive them.

Here's how:

1. Have your employee sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top left corner, then select Email Notification.
3. Turn the email notification on/off by toggling the check box Send me an email when new pay stubs are available.
