I'm here to provide some insight on your bank with QuickBooks Desktop 2019. I'm looking at the supported Financial Institution list for that version of QuickBooks Desktop and I'm not seeing UBS, either. This means that the bank simply doesn't allow a connection to QuickBooks Online. I'd recommend getting in touch with your bank to submit feedback to support QuickBooks Desktop connections. In the meantime, you'll need to manually import transactions from that bank. Doing this in QuickBooks Desktop is super simple and only takes a few moments. Check it out:
That's it! For other supported file types, check out: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop

Using 2019 QB Desktop, I am having the same problem and have taken the steps you suggested. I still cannot get my bank to feed! This is what is happening: My bank's download for Quickbooks which is an .IIF format. I selected that download and it will not open when I go to File, Utililites, Import, IIF Files.... The next step is to import IIF file. I select that box and then select the IIf File to import on the next window. It downloads/imports the file. Then I get this message: FILE NOT IMPORTED (we weren't able to import your file) 0 successes, 19 failed transactions. I selected REVIEW NOW and choose to open it in the QB Launcher. X-PROBLEM pops up with this message: You are trying to open a quickbooks file. Only QuickBooks company files can be opened this way. They offer 2 solutions, but nothing works. HOW DO I GET MY BANK'S DOWNLOADS (.IIF) IMPORTED TO QUICKBOOKS ?
Let's make sure that the bank name from the IIF file has the same name with QuickBooks. Once check, then we can perform the import again. Here's how:
If you see an error message "File not imported", you can have the option to review and resolve the errors in the IIF file.
For the detailed process, you can read out this article: Improved IIF Import in QuickBooks 2019 and later.

I will be more than happy/pleased to help you. Take care.
I'm experiencing a similar issue on desktop. QBO had no issue connecting to One AZ Credit Union, but it isn't coming up as an option in the desktop version. Is there a list of supported banks on the desktop version? Thanks
Hello, KateMM.
When you set up online banking, you connect your bank and credit card accounts to automatically download transactions. If you can't find your financial institution when you set up, don't worry.
There are two ways to set up an account: Direct Connect and Web Connect. The way you connect depends on what's available at your bank.
Download your transactions with Direct Connect.
Before you start, find out from your bank if there's a fee or if the service is free.
Import Web Connect (.qbo) files.
To find out if your financial institution supports online services for QuickBooks, please check out this article: Get started with Bank Feeds for QuickBooks Desktop.
