How can I disabnle this new "Schedule Payment" option ?

From there, they can securely check your account and help you disable the Schedule Payment feature.

@kpangaro ,  Sadly, it's not something you can turn off or disable.   QB decided to not give us the choice, and to add to the amount of clicks it takes just to get work done.  You have to find a workaround that best suites you.  

For me, we don't print checks or pay online.  I have to choose the vendor I'm needing to pay, click on the arrow next to the "schedule Payment", click on "Mark as Paid".  There, it will bring up invoices. 

**Side note- It will have invoices check marked, already.  You can change it for what you are needing to pay. 

Once you have your invoices check marked, click "print check", found down at the bottom enter of the page, or "Save and close" or "save and new", if you don't need a printed check.

And NO QUICKBOOKS TEAM, this is NOT a good way to have to do it.  It needs to be put back the way it was.  

There is no two ways about this:  THIS SUCKS and is a horrible change implemented by Quickbooks, for god knows why, but I suspect at some point this will cost us money to "Schedule a Payment", which I'm pretty sure goes through a 3rd party.  I'm not comfortable with that either.

This feature should be removed.  Wasting my time.  Makes me want to look at other software.

I hate this new "feature."  It's ludicrous to give us no choice to turn it off.  We'll also start looking at other software.

I came here looking for a way to disable it. It has been a pain since they started using it. I agree we should have a way to decide to either disable or enable this feature so it doesn’t add unnecessary steps especially since we are the ones paying for the service. Very irritating!!

I just figured out if you click on "mark as paid" It takes you to the window where you can create a check by checking the box next to "Print Later"  So it will behave just like the old way where you clicked "pay bill".   Would have been nice if someone from Quickbooks could have explained this or just gave us the option to turn it off.   Most other optional things can be easily turned off in the account settings.  Obviously this unwanted change has upset a lot of people that don't want QB online bill pay.
