How can I export tax payments that were not exported with my normal payroll in Online Payroll? I can see the payments but cannot select them for export.

I am in the export screen where I can see the not exported payments but cannot select them for export.

I'm glad you've come into this forum, PortMike. Let me provide inputs to help you export tax payments from QuickBooks Online Payroll.

 

When managing payroll tax data in QBO, the export option to move your transactions is only available for QuickBooks standalone payroll versions. It also includes information to help you transfer using an IIF file as an alternative.

 

However, if you receive specific errors or encounter unusual behavior in your transactions, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support team to further review your account. They have the necessary tools to help you assist in exporting these data and get you back to business seamlessly. To do this:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon and choose the Search tab.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Describe your concern and click Continue.
  4. Choose between Chat with us and Have us call you.

I don't think you understand my problem.  I am using QB Enterprise Desktop and QB Online Payroll.  I pay bi-weekly and export my payroll data to Enterprise Desktop using a .iff file.  However, the payroll tax payments the QB Online payroll makes for me have not been showing up in my regular payroll exports.  In Online Payroll when I make the time frame for the search for the prior 2 months I can see the not exported payroll tax payments but I cannot select them for export.  Until I have payroll tax payments in my check register I cannot reconcile my bank account.
