Thank you for dropping by here in the Community, @sam2adam.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you should be able to view 1099s as soon as your client submits the final forms to the IRS. Seeing that you're having an issue, I have to check the account and identify why it's asking you to sign up for a new subscription.
Since the Community is a public forum, I'm unable to review the status without asking for sensitive information. If you're using the same login credentials and the system won't recognize your existing plan, I suggest contacting our QBSE Support Team.
Here's how:
- Log into your Self-Employed account.
- Type or say Talk to a human.
- Select your preferred support method: Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent, or Get a callback.
Please note some options are only available at certain times. You can reach them within this time: Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST.
For additional reference, check out the 1099s in QuickBooks Self-Employed article. It provides information about entering your own W-9 and how to access 1099.
Reach out to me anytime if you have any other concerns. I’ll be right here ready to help you. Enjoy the rest of the day.
