How do I change the number of employees on my 941 quarterly from zero to two?

Employees with a pay period of March 12 (for Q1), June 12 (Q2), September 12 (Q3), or December 12 will show in the system (Q4). You can run the Payroll Details report to verify the number of employees in the system.

Here's how:

1. Select the Reports option from the navigation pane on the left.
2. In the Find report by name field, enter Payroll Details and click the report to open.
3. Choose the period for the required quarter.
4. Look under the employee name for the pay date. See the image below.

Make sure to submit form 941 by the last day of the month that follows the end of the quarter. If they fall on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, you may file your return on the next business day.
