How do I disable "Get Paid Up Front"

I understand that it can be frustrating when a feature doesn't live up to someone's expectations, david388.

Get Paid Up Front is one of the services that are offered when you activate QuickBooks Payments. It basically offers faster deposit time instead of waiting for the regular invoice due date.

To disable it, please contact our support team for QuickBooks Payments. They can verify your account details for them to proceed with the changes on your account. Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner to open the QB Assistant window.
  3. Type in "talk to a human", then press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us.
  5. Provide a short description of your concern and click Continue.
  6. Choose the option that you want to get in touch with our support team.
  7. Select Callback if you want to save your spot in queue. Choose Appointment if you want to have someone call you in the next available schedule. On the other hand, click Chat if you want to start a conversation with one of our chat support agents.

You can also contact the phone number in the Canceling section of this article: Increase Cash Flow With Get Paid Upfront.

As you go back to the original terms, feel free to check out these articles in case you need more guidance when receiving customer payments:

Just in case you are referring to the banner as shown in the screenshot below, closing it out is currently unavailable. You can disregard it for now or click the thumbs down button in the right-hand corner.

How do I disable "Get Paid Up Front"

I can see how ads or pop-up messages could affect your business activity in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @david388. Let me provide you with some suggestions on how we can remove them.

Ads help improve your QBO experience by providing guidance and suggestions. Although we don't have an option to disable them, you can ignore them by clicking the or No, thanks button. Aside from that, you can also install a pop-up blocker in your browser. I'll show you how:

  1. On the left of the address bar, click on the lock icon
  2. Choose Permission for this site (Mozilla browser) or Site settings (Google Chrome).
  3. Proceed to the Pop-ups and redirects section.
  4. From the drop-down menu, select Block.

If you are using a Safari Browser, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Pick Safari, then Preferences.
  3. At the top, select Websites.
  4. On the left sidebar, pick the Pop-up windows.
  5. Choose Block in the pop-up menu for the website.

Moreover, if you want to disable these ads permanently, I recommend sending feedback to our product developers. They can review your suggestions and consider adding them in future releases. You can do so by opening your QBO account, going to the Gear icon, then selecting Feedback.

To get updates about the status of your feedback, you may visit the Customer Feedback page.

If you have other QuickBooks-related concerns, don't hesitate to post here again. I'll be more than happy to lend a hand.

How do I disable "Get Paid Up Front"

I have followed this same response for over 4 years for the same request on multiple threads related to the same think. You would think after 4 years someone would actually pay attention to the primary point.

QB is now on our list of replacement software and no longer recommended to anyone.
