If you're referring to setting up a direct deposit, it will take two to three business days to confirm and activate your bank account. Then, you'll receive an email from us to confirm your DD status.

In QuickBooks Online, we can go to the Payroll Settings to confirm if a direct deposit is ready to use.

Here's how:

- Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner.
 - Choose Payroll Settings.
 - Select Company under Bank Accounts. From there, this is what will appear depending on the status: Connected/Active, Pending, Waiting for verification and Failed.

For more details about this one, check this article: How to check your direct deposit setup status. This also provides details about what are the possible reasons why the direct deposit feature suddenly turns off.

 - Enter Paycheck List.in the search field.
