You'll want to set up the exemptions under the pastor's profile. I recommend consulting your accountant first to verify if the employee is qualified to be tax exempt.
Here's how:
- Click Workers on the left menu, then select Employees.
- Choose the employee's name.
- Under Employee Details, click on the pencil icon beside Pay.
- Click on the pencil icon under the question What are (employee's name) withholdings?
- Go to the Tax Exemptions section, then click on the drop down arrow.
- Select Social Security and Medicare and other withholding taxes.
