How do I manually pay LA taxes?

I'll walk you through the steps on how to manually file your taxes in QuickBooks, @usermarandadj36.

The process of paying and filing taxes depends on the Payroll subscription you're using.

If you subscribe to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll Full Service, Intuit sends your payroll taxes and forms automatically to ensure your business processes taxes on time.

If you're using QBO Payroll Core, Premium, and Elite, you'll have the option to chose if want to you pay and file them by yourself or we'll do it for you.

In your case, it seems that you're automated tax payment and form filing feature is enabled. However, you can turn this off so that you can pay state taxes manually.

Once done, we’ll let you know when your tax payments and form filings are due. Then, proceed to these steps to print a check and mail it to your tax agency. 

1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Payroll Tax.
2. On the Payroll Tax Center page, select Pay Taxes.
3. Next to the payment you want to pay, click Record Payment.
4. On the approve payment screen, select Click Record and Print.
