- Click Reports on the left panel.
- Type Employee Details in the search box.
- From the report, go to the TAX INFO column and check the employee's Social Security Number.

Let's pull up the Vendor Contact List report, lamarbusiness.
We can just add the tax ID column to show their SSN or EIN. Though, this will show you not only your contractors but all your vendors, we can export it into an Excel file. From there, we can manually remove all the non-contractors.
The 1099 filing is almost over. Make sure to submit the form before the deadline. If you haven't yet, you can e-file it within QuickBooks Online.

I'm using the vendor contact list in the "new" view and there is no option for Tax ID box.
I'll share information about the Tax ID option in the Vendor Contact List report, Bravura.
We're still receiving comments and suggestions about the new interface. The option to include the Tax ID in the modern report view is currently unavailable. I suggest sending your feedback to our software engineers so that they can consider adding this feature in future product updates. Here's how:
In the meantime, you can switch to Classic View, and ensure to select the Show More dropdown button after clicking the small Gear icon to reveal the Tax ID checkbox. See the screenshots below:

That is another nuisance. QB needs to cut down on the number of clicks to get information or get things done.
