In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the automated tax payment and form filing feature are enabled by default. You can turn it off by following the steps below:
- Click the Gear icon at the top.
- Choose Payroll Settings.
- Go to the Taxes and forms section, clear the Automate taxes and forms checkbox.
- Click Save.

However, if you follow the above steps but unable to turn them off, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and help you make sure your auto tax payment is off.
