Let me share information on how to pay your employee who worked under time.
If your employee is a Salaried Employee, we should pay them regardless of how many hours they worked each week.
However, if your employee is just a regular employee, we should determine their Hours Worked and Equivalent Salary Amount:
- To begin with, calculate the hours worked by the salaried employee during the partial work week.
- Once done, convert these hours into an equivalent salary based on their fixed rate for the pay period.
- Then, let's override the Employee's Pay:
- Go to the Employees section from the left menu.
- Select Run Payroll.
- Locate the salaried employee you wish to pay partially.
- Edit the pay and hours as needed, adjusting for the partial work week.
- Preview and then submit payroll.
- Click Finished Payroll.
