How to use quickbooks payroll for mac?

Hello AES2692!

 

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. I'm here to assist you with any payroll concerns you may have.

 

It seems that you need help in setting up your payroll account. Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then select Add Payroll.
  2. Click Try It Now to create a payroll account.
  3. Go to the To Do tab and select Complete Setup

Also, please check this link: Get started with Payroll. This article will show you all the things you needed when setting it up.

 

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac integrates with Intuit Online Payroll. These are the steps in creating a paycheck or check this link for more details: Create pay checks in online payroll.

  1. From the Payday tab, select a pay schedule.
  2. Select the employees you'd like to pay and enter the payroll details such as the hours worked.
  3. Tap Create Pay checks.
  4. Confirm the amounts and payment methods, and select Approve Pay checks.

Once done running payroll, you can export the transactions and import them to your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac for accounting purposes.
