I accidently paid my employees a paycheck from the previous pay week instead of the current weeks hours. How do I correct their paychecks now? Thank you in advance.

Before going into detail, I want to ask if the paycheck is a regular check? Is it already processed or not? 

If it's a regular check and not yet processed, you can delete and recreate the paycheck. This way, you can correct the record on your employee. 

1. Go to Payday, then select Paycheck List.
2. Select the paychecks you want to delete.
3. Select Delete, then OK to confirm deletion.
   • If you used a paper check, you have the option to delete it.
   • If you used a paper check but it's not the most recent one or a direct deposit check, the system will not allow you to delete it. Contact us to void the paycheck. Go to the (?) Help section in your product and select Contact Us to connect to a payroll expert.

You can also keep track of your payroll details and history by viewing and pulling up reports.

Processed payroll via direct deposit can only be corrected through our QuickBooks support team. I'd recommend contacting them so they can review your account in a secure environment and perform the payroll correction. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click the Help button.
3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
4. Select Contact Us.

You might want to run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online. This will help you view useful information about your business and employees.
