Before going into detail, I want to ask if the paycheck is a regular check? Is it already processed or not?
If it's a regular check and not yet processed, you can delete and recreate the paycheck. This way, you can correct the record on your employee.
You can also keep track of your payroll details and history by viewing and pulling up reports.

Unfortunately the payroll has already been processed by Direct Deposit.

Processed payroll via direct deposit can only be corrected through our QuickBooks support team. I'd recommend contacting them so they can review your account in a secure environment and perform the payroll correction. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:
