Thanks for checking in with us, billgtrout.

If you're trying to add transactions in your Chart of Accounts for 2019, we can go to the bank register to enter them.

Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Tick View register on the bank account you're working with.
  4. Tap the Add Check drop-down.
  5. Select the transaction you'll need to add.
  6. Enter the details when adding the transaction and hit Save.

For more details about this one, you can check out this article: Add transactions to account registers in QuickBooks Online.

If you need to enter a split transaction in the register, just follow the steps in this article: Enter a split transaction into the register.

You can also create a journal entry for entering transactions. Then, consult your accountant ton the posting accounts you'll need to use for 2019 transactions.

Then, you can reconcile the 2019 entries to make sure they match in your real-life bank and credit card statements. For the steps and details, just refer to Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) article.

I've got a link here where you can find articles about managing your bank transactions into your account: Find help with bank feeds and reconciling accounts.

I'm just one reply away if you need a hand with running financial reports or any QBO related. I'm glad to help. Have a wonderful weekend.
