Let's double-check why you're unable to run payroll reports, bpupstate315.

Are you getting an error message when trying to run payroll reports?

If you're using the QuickBooks Online app and your payroll doesn't load, there's an ongoing issue about this. Our engineers are working their best to fix this as soon as possible.

At the moment, you can use a web browser to log in to QuickBooks and run reports.

On the other hand, if you're unable to run with your browser, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue.

There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that causes some unusual responses to your browser. To isolate this, try logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once signed in, you can try to run payroll reports. If it's already working,  return to your default browser clear your browser's cache to speed up the loading process. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

You can also print reports in QuickBooks Online if you want a hard copy for file.
