I completed 1099s today in QuickBooks website. The link my vendor received allowed him to see 1099s for himself and another vendor. The vendor also cannot view his 1099

I completed 1099s today in QuickBooks website. The link my vendor received allowed him to see 1099s for himself and another vendor. The vendor also cannot view his 1099

If your contractor cannot view his 1099, be sure to have him log in to his Intuit account to view the form seamlessly. Vendors who don't have a login will not be able to view the form. If he's able to log in to the correct account and the problem continues, we can try the basic troubleshooting steps to help us narrow down the cause of this unexpected behavior.

 

First, have your vendor open the email using a private window and try to view 1099 from there. The stored cache of the regular browser he's using may cause the problem.

 

To save time, use either of these shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If that works fine from there, have him go back to the regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the page. For the steps, check out this article: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?.
