We don't handle, process or store sensitive payment card data. The only way we accept a credit card is if a customer clicks on the payment link included in their emailed invoice.

I have found out that most credit card processors include the PCI compliance in their fees. I have found a processor (Helcim) that would do just that. And their fees to our customers are lower than QB.
So we'll just be moving on.

I also want to point out that I specifically asked about fees to us when opening the merchant account, I was told there were none.
It seems you wait until the first credit card is processed and then jump in with this annual fee.
Definitely bait and switch.
