I need to add EIN to existing inhanced payroll service

I can definitely help you with adding an EIN, carla13.

We can add an EIN to your subscription through the Employees menu. Before diving into the process, we'll have to consider that we must use the same registered copy of QuickBooks Desktop on the same machine to process payroll for all companies on a single payroll subscription.

You can follow these steps to add an EIN:

  1. Select Employees from the top menu bar.
  2. Choose Payroll.
  3. Select Use My Existing Payroll Service (If you don't see that option, you can proceed to this link: Use my existing payroll service option is not available).
  4. Under Identify Subscription, choose Use Subscription Number XXXXXXX [ Payroll Subscription Version ].
  5. If you don't see your own subscription in the list, you'll have to select Other: I have an existing subscription and a Zip Code and enter your information.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select Next when the Add Company Information window opens to add the company EIN.
  8. Select Print or Return to QuickBooks Desktop.
  9. To verify the service key, go back to Employees then select My Payroll Service.
  10. Click Manage Service Keys.
  11. Hit View to display the new service key with an Active Status.

I've added an article that will guide you in running payroll in QuickBooks Desktop: Create paychecks.
