I signed up for Online Payroll and completed setup. When I click Pay Team the browser screen goes blank & comes back to same screen. Any ideas. Happens o Chrome/Safari

I appreciate you for trying other browsers to resolve this issue, joe128.

 

Aside from using other browsers, let's try running payroll on a private window. This is the best place to identify any browser-related issue.

 

You can use these keyboard shortcut to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

If it works, you can go back to a regular browser and try clearing its cache. There are instances once a cache is piled up, it can also cause any unexpected issues on the opened pages like QuickBooks.

 

Afterward, let's try running payroll again.

 

If the same thing happens, I'd recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support team so an agent can investigate why you're unable to pay your team.

  1. From the ? Help icon, click Contact Us.
  2. Enter I'm unable to run payroll.
  3. Click Let's talk.
  4. From there, select either Schedule a call, Get a call, or Start a chat.

OK - I did what you said.  I opened a private window in Safari.  The same thing happened.  When I click Pay Team, the browser window goes blank for a second like it looks like it is going to do something and then it comes back to the same screen.

 

I did the private window on Chrome and had the same result.

 

Just for kicks, I downloaded the Quickbooks Online App for my Mac.  When I clicked Pay Team the exact same thing happened as on the website.  

 

This is super weird.  Any other ideas?  Thank you so much for reaching out.  I really need to get this resolved so I can pay my team.

  1. Open QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to ? Help, click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, such as "Pay Team option issue in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP)" or "Can't pay my team in QBOP."
  4. Select Let's talk.
  5. Choose how you want to be assisted if it's either chat or get a callback.
  6. Enter your details, then confirm the request.
